Greetings from the *route purple* team!

Come September, and we start some fascinating programs in

the hills of

Uttaranchal once again. You can chose from our FIXED DATE

programs or YOUR

OWN DATES and we design something exclusive for you at our

campsite near the

Binsar wildlife sanctuary in Almora district.

The *route purple* philosophy, '2 hour trek in 4

hours', is aimed at

enjoying nature at one's own pace.

FIXED PROGRAMS:

1. route purple NATURE WEEKENDS (2Days, 3 Nights):

Leave Delhi on Friday evening and return back on Monday

morning after

rejuvenating yourself in the mountains for two days.

The trip includes easy excursions to the Binsar forest and

the Zeropoint

(7500ft) for a panoramic view of the snow covered Himalayan

ranges, Campfire

nights, living in tents and healthy vegetarian food.

DATES: Sept 26-29, Oct 17-20, Oct 24-27, Oct 31-Nov 3,

Nov 7-10, Nov

14-17, Nov 21-24, Nov 28- Dec 1.

II. route purple TREK JAGESHWAR (4Days, 5 Nights):

Two of these treks are planned for the first and the second

week of October

to help you utilize your long weekend.

Leave Delhi on Wednesday evening (1st & 8th of Oct) and

return on Monday

morning.

The treks are of easy grade. They start from our base camp

near Binsar and

trek through the forest to reach the camp 2 at the village

Dholchina

(3500ft) and then on to Jwalabanj (7000ft), a quiet village

near a rich

forest. The final trek is a descent to Jageshwar (6000ft),

wherein lie

hundreds of 8th century miniature temples situated around a

river in a

valley.

Enjoy campfire nights, living in tents and simple

vegetarian food and the

fresh mountain air and a great trek.
